Immunisation staff/children Policy
Aim:
To minimise the risk of exposure to infectious diseases transmitted from person to person and prevent illness and other risks from vaccine preventable diseases by appropriate immunisation.
Explanation:
Children and staff may be exposed to diseases that are preventable by immunisation. The most effective method of preventing certain infections is immunisation. Immunisation protects the person who has been immunised, children who are too young to be vaccinated, and other people who have been vaccinated but did not respond to the vaccine.
Implementation:
Reviewed and agreed upon by all staff January 2020
